Storing up for Winter

It's October and the girls are buzzing all over the goldenrod and Japanese knotweed. Japanese knotweed is what makes that glorious deeply colored, rich honey many of you love. The bees are putting lots of honey on right now which means a good supply for you, as well as, the hive for the winter. They'll keep foraging as long as there are food sources and the daytime temps stay above 50 degrees.
